Medigroup Health Centre & Walk-in

Although I wrote a review earlier about how unhappy we were with the staff at this clinic, everything has been sorted out and we can keep our wonderful doctor, whom we both love. The clinic was pretty new and has now found it's 'sea legs' so to speak. All in all, a very good clinic with capable and caring staff.

Went in because my daughter had a sore throat. Was told the doctor wouldn’t see her because that is a covid symptom. Did not ask any follow up questions. She had no other symptoms. Im pretty sure everything can be considered a covid symptom these days. So much for getting medical care. No wonder there wasn’t anyone else in the place if they turn everyone away who has what might be a Covid symptom. Very disappointing for a medical practice.

Dr. Marcello Venditti was extremely friendly, personable and thorough. Although there was about a 45 minute wait to see him, when I was taken to the back waiting room he was already there ready for me. One of the best walk-in experiences I've had in a long time :)

Please train your staff to let patients know if their appointment will be rescheduled. I had to drop a shift at my work, spend $50 for a taxi as we only have one car which my husband and i share, only to come to the clinic with the staff telling me that i dont have appointment on that day. Imagine the disappointment and frustration I felt thanks to your very competent staff who had one job of calling or mailing the patients of their appointments. You have no regards and consideration to other people’s time. Very ‘professional’ indeed.

Brought my daughter there for her appointment. Dr. Epp is wonderful. We had to wait an hour for the appointment. Front desk staff said they didn't have the wifi password. I wanted to check my email regarding work. Would be nice if you want us to wait a long time if you could at least let us use your wifi. Not all of us can afford data you know.

I started attending this clinic after my GP moved here. No complaints about the doc but they are very hard to contact by phone and the waits are often long once you arrive. Not a very convenient experience.

I attended this clinic as a walk-in. I walked in with a slight fever, swollen lymph nodes in my neck, soreness in my right ear, chills, and extreme pain. I had tested negative for Covid-19 the day prior and minutes before I chose to go to this clinic. Fortunately, there wasn't a long wait to be seen (about 25 minutes), I was grateful for that. But then I was seen by the doctors assistant? She described herself as that. She checked all my symptoms and said that it must be a virus and there was nothing she can do. She also said there was some redness in my ear and asked if I put anything in my ear. I didn't put anything in my ear. She talked with the doctor and the doctor prescribed me some antibiotics for my ear. I was still very sore two days later and decided to go to another walk in clinic since nothing changed. My neck was still very swollen. I was diagnosed with strep throat and was prescribed antibiotics, which alleviated everything within a day or so. I would give minus star because I didn't get the chance to be seen by an actual doctor and had to needlessly suffer for an two extra days.

Took my son here Friday- reception was very easy and friendly- we got into a doctor within an hour and then bonus the pharmacy is right there. I ended up back on Tuesday myself ) germs are for Sharing apparently) and again within an hour in and out with antibiotics.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Doctors were the same. Clean facilities and lots of seating. Will definitely be back if I need to go to a walk-in again.

I was just there today and what a fantastic experience, the front desk was so incredibly helpful, fast to get me in, and had a confidence about them that was contagious. The Doctor I saw was so great as well, when I got to the pharmacy to get my prescription filled the team there was fantastic too, I can't say enough about how great everything was. I left there feeling so much better.
